I have my driving experience coming up next week and really can't wait to see what a GTS can really do. I'm sure you don't,but can you confirm if you have to wear helmets whilst driving?

Nope, no helmets required. I did it a couple of weeks ago. Excellent day.

No helmets needed as it’s classed as a “road” drive. Hence the white lines on the centre of the track which must be completely ignored 😀

They make you use the annoying white lines for a couple of laps to “see how you drive on the road”. Then tell you to completely ignore them and have fun….which you definitely will.

You will know when the Instructor has reached their squeaky bum level.

They will take you off the Handling Tracks to the Ice Hill or Skid Pan.

Mine was way before spec locked. Delivery took 11 months and PEC was about halfway way through that.
Contact PEC direct and they will chase up the dealer.

Ask the dealer for the two codes that relate to your forthcoming PEC invite. I can't remember what they're called, but they'll know what you're talking about.

After they've given them to you you can just call Silverstone and get a date sorted without having to wait for the invite to come through.

The invite timing can be quite random so better to take the above proactive approach I think.
