Bmw had started removing the comfort access and middle tier HK audio from some models as early as middle of 2021.

Similarly Land Rover, some vehicles you could only spec in one trim level (strangely the top spec level HSE with the most kit) - i suppose it streamlined the parts supply variants, whilst maximising profit margins !

There are hundreds of built vehicles in store at Halewood, awaiting various chips to arrive and be retro fitted.

Presumably if you bought a covid era car it will affect the retail price over those that had all the options. Fortunately the only bit mine lacked was the sim and and SD slot in the centre console. Managed to get in before they dumped the electric steering column stuff.
