How often would you need to adjust it? It really makes no difference to comfort access because as it’s an SUV the wheel is never low enough to restrict egress.

Precisely, and (as I mentioned previously) I'm 15 inches taller than Mrs C so we have the wheel on a totally different position.

Yep. And don't forget it was originally there for a good reason otherwise Porsche wouldn't have bothered fitting one.

My moneys on a good old fashioned lever on the column base just what you'd expect on a luxury SUV from a premier manufacturer... can't hide my disappointment on this, sorry

Yes, feel robbed 75-80k luxury SUV and part of the luxury element has been taken away. Sure, may not use it much once steering has been set up but this is an option I don't have on my current car and would have been nice to have considering a lot of the tech on the Macan Gen 3 is dated.

Sadly not. My car was marketed as a lightweight 911, but they only really paid lip service to that aspect (although I love my car & the ‘lightweight’ approach was not a big factor for me).

So they could have gone for things like wind-up windows and completely manual seats (mine are 4-ways). Needless to say, I didn’t spec a sun roof, PDK or other weight-adding options like rear axle steer or front axle lift.
