Hi all

Just about to lock my spec in for my April delivery Macan S and was after peoples opinion if the £1700 for the sports is worth it ?

I am thinking the £1700 would be better spent on other options ?

Have it in my Gen 1 GTS and hate it. Turn it off every time I put the car in Sport

Might work better with the newer 2.9 engine but personally I’d leave well alone

In 3 months of ownership of a gen3 S I’m yet to once think I’m missing the PSE when I turn it on. Perfectly happy with the noise of the standard exhaust.

Decent seats or by the sound of it save it to clear your pipes if you get a Pano. I genuinely feel for all the people who have had issues with those. That simply should not be happening on any car let alone a Porsche!!!

Same opinion asBanZ, had our Gen3 S from September , never once have I thought if only I had ordered the PSE makes more than enough noise especially in todays climate and the fact that they have particulate filters in , when it’s in Sport opens the valves anyway I’m more than happy .
And that’s coming from a Daza engined RS3 with the amazing 5cyl 2.5 engine with sports exhaust .
Spend the money elsewhere…

Hi I have added the pano roof I assume that's what you mean ?

and what issues are there ?

Love it on 911, makes massive difference.

On our Gen 2 Macan S I like it and it make a difference, either with GPF

On the Gen 3 S I had for a day it didn't have it and it sounded nice. Whether it would have sounded even better with it I don't know !

In all honesty no, I’ve got the Sports Exhaust on the GTS, Sounds great on start up but I find it drones on motorways, I can live without it , also wouldn’t bother with BOSE system as I’ve got the normal system more than adequate, I’ve had Sports Chrono before and again wouldn’t bother with that, although I did have the compass fitted just to break up the dash

Yes. Get your kids/nephews to pretend to be a Sports Exhaust. Then give them a tenner to shut up.
