Is that not capitalism in action?

I agree it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but this has gone on for years. Sure, every single Porsche halo model is reserved for "special" clients who keep buying their most expensive models. They flip them after 6 months but not before securing a slot for the next halo model in the range. And so it goes on.

A bad taste indeed... :(

Am surprised that Porsche sell new cars to people who immediately flip them for huge profits... :(
Have you ever tried to buy a Rolex? 😆

I got forced (never been a watch wearer) into choosing one for my 30th and got an Explorer II, for under RRP at the time! Even though I never wear it it's been a good buy with how prices have went. A few years ago I phoned my local shop asking about going on the list for a steel Daytona and basically got laughed at, it wasn't unexpected to be honest but they basically said the same about every other steel model

Whilst i don't necessarily agree with the profiteering aspect, the supplying OPC (or excess stock from a lease company? ) gets their sales figures met, and the mark up from non OPC dealers helps the OPC set their own prices (and partly justify them).

We have to take the rough with the smooth. When we get a Corbynister government only party members will be allowed to drive Porsches.

You have been warned, get your party membership applications in now!

When I signed my agreement, I found this stipulation quite interesting:

Can they really prevent a buyer selling their vehicle before the agreed time!
Of course, it can always be argued that at the time of purchase, the buyer did not intend to sell the car, but circumstances changed.

Exactly. It would be better if OPCs were prohibited from buying any car less than 6 months old 🐖💸

In the northern Porsche dealer triangle ( think thubarb ) I am led to believe that there are several dealers of high end prestige cars that block buy them to supply to Premier League footballers. I was told that one of them is the biggest buyer of Porsche cars in the UK. Which goes some way to explain why GT cars in the same area are like rocking horse 💩. These dealers then lease them them to the players, beneficial for tax reasons I am told.
