That’s what I’m doing if I’m told I can’t have the GT`s. I just can’t decide at the moment whether to go gloss black or Matt black.
When you say £400 I hope you mean for all four and not each!!
Just an update got the call today and my car is due for build date in march with delivery for April.
He confirmed the 21' GT design wheels are definitely now not available so I am having to go with the rs spyder wheels and they are spraying them satin black and quoted me £524.00. The standard 20 inch wheels look far too small in my opinion having seen some real life pics and the Vesuvius grey are a lot lighter than they look on the configurator.

I think that's the best option. I wanted the GTs too but will also settle for the RS Spyders and and have them sprayed satin black.

It's a pity they didn't offer to cover this cost with the GTs not available. That would have been a nice gesture. Maybe I'll ask my SE :-)

Yes spyder sprayed black is about 700 quid cheaper than the GT ones so puts a little back in the pot for something else I guess ha ha

Hi, I have the same issue, my spec was locked down two weeks ago for March build, however my dealer phoned today to say that I can no longer have GT wheels. I am debating the exclusive design sport wheels which either jet black or gentian blue insides… any thoughts ?

I would never accept a brand new car with its number plates in such a sorry condition! :-(
