I finally picked up my wife’s new Macan S from our local OPC yesterday. Very happy with how the spec turned out in reality. The 18 way adaptive seats are incredibly cosseting and the GT steering wheel feels great in the hand. I’ve only drove about 10 miles in it so far but dynamically it feels a world apart from the Disco sport she had previously.

Here’s a few pics:

And for the important clarifications:
1. No SIM card slot
2. Bonnet alignment seems good
3. Got the printed book pack
4. Was not delayed by headlight parts (got PDLS+)
5. Freebies was the standard picture/spare key pack and a Porsche business card holder (does anyone still do business cards in a post COVID world?)
6. Porsche code was PN75I8H4

I was on the M62 today in mine and when I got back, it was filthy  Had to give it a quick jetwash until I get time to wash it over the next few days.

That’s very true. Especially as we’re down in Devon with lots of muddy country roads all around. It’s booked in for a full Gtechniq treatment next week so hoping that will make it a bit easier to keep clean!

Looks good. Would have had Volcano but I had it on my last Macan. I probably should have specced the GT Steering wheel as whilst the standard wheel looks nice I think that on balance I prefer the fatter rim on the GT wheel. I could have also dropped the power steering plus as the car I drove at Silverstone did not have it and was light enough at manoeuvring speeds ( think the lighter engine on the 2.0, lighter suspension parts and 20” wheels now negate the need for PS Plus - I previously had the 3.0 diesel and 21” wheels plus the gen 1 suspension and preferred PS plus).
