Forgot to mention that I didn’t get a book pack which is to follow in due course. Apparently a lot of cars are arriving without book packs and some without spare keys. Can’t imagine why book packs should be in short supply.

Assume you've checked the glove box - no mention of book pack at my hand over, then a couple of days later I thought I'd open the glove box and oh whats this ...

I also have the My Porsche app activated but it doesn’t do anything more than the Porsche Connect app. My wife’s Mini app is better.

I think the intention is the car Connect and Connect apps are withdrawn and we are let with My Porche has the working app alongside Good to Know

I checked the glove box as I was looking to see if there was a full sized USB port

If only I could afford a Shark Blue 992. In the meantime I really must stop looking at the new BMW M240i Xdrive which I can get with a good discount using the Armed Forces scheme. Must resist …….

That looked like Leicester OPC as we picked up our Cayenne E Hybrid there on Monday from the same internal handover spot yours was parked in. We also got the nice presentation box with key and picture. I like the thermos flask you got, we got a diffuser from Jo Malone....sigh.

I still can’t get the 8 digit car connect code to sync up to my account when I enter it into the car. We had issues connecting to the Porsche server from the showroom and it is still not connecting now we have the car home. Therefore the phone app does not link to the car which is a pain.

We traded in our 5 year old base Macan which does feel like a sports car compared to the lump that is the cayenne

The Macan was a superb family car and would have happily traded up to a GTS but my wife fancied the bigger vehicle

Yes it was Leicester even though I live over 100 miles away. Bought a Boxster T from them Oct 2020 and liked the service I received. My dealer Alex kept in touch throughout. Got the train down this morning which although it took nearly 4 hours only cost £13. The bloody taxi from the station was £10 but the dealership paid for the taxi as they couldn’t pick me up ( due to not sharing cars with customers!). I already had the My Porsche app on my phone and Alex synced the car and phone to my Connect account. Can you not use the old connect app as I already had that up and running before I went down today and to be fair the My Porsche app doesn’t seem to offer anything else.

When I installed the My Porsche Andriod app it asked me to delete the Connect app before it would work fully. Car Connect was able to retained and still worked
