The school holidays have already started so most OPC's sales areas will be at minimum staffing
That will give our OPCs more time to call to wish us Merry Christmas!! 🤶

PorscheMack,

That would be great if some OPC's did that , but Im not holding out much hope until start of 2022 to see what my SE at the OPC says. If I see Santa tonight might be tempted to mug him, put a 2.9L V6 GTS engine on his sleigh and use that until my own car turns up.............................

Tic Toc Tic Toc thats another fews seconds closer to a build slot...........................

Merry Xmas and hopefully a new Macan Delivered to all of you in 2022, good things come to those that wait.

Cheers GTB
I think Santa's sleigh is Elflectric now!! 🤶😁

PMG,
Given the lack of info some of us have been experiencing then Min staffing aint going to make any diffrence to their comms.

Unless they have been doing this whole Christmas thing by writing letters to their customers and sticking them up a chimney hoping we get them....

Why not spec standard then buy decent used GTs offset the cost by selling the new wheels. Seems simpler than just bailing out of the whole deal
Not many people are going to spec the GT’s and then sell them,so I would imagine finding a used set would be difficult. It’s not just the wheels , I sold my car in September and can’t wait 12 months with no car. Then if I end up having to pay the price increase that will just be the icing on the cake.
I’m going to put some pressure on my dealer for some definite info regarding build dates or at least an idea of what quarter etc after Xmas, and if I get nowhere, and I’m told the GT’s are a definite no then I’ll cancel.
Ps, Audi RS’s are notorious for being stolen. I personally wouldn’t have one for that reason.
It's interesting to note that GT wheels are still available to order for the S in some countries (Netherlands and Croatia are the first 2 I found) but not in others (UK, France). That's a bit weird unless they're working on an allocation basis per country ? My SE said he though they may be available again in 2022 but couldn't say when ....

I must admit wheel looks would never be the deciding factor as to whether I bought a car or not. I do tend to choose wheels by the ease of cleaning overlooks and I do avoid sizes when the tyre wall is such as to reduce ride quality to a level I find unacceptable. I am more concerned about items that affect me when I am in the car than when I am outside it but not cleaning it

If OP is redeeming deposit entirely due to lack of wheel choice? guess his heart isn’t actually set on owning a Macan. Good luck with whatever you decide but if it’s a high quality sport performance and handling SUV that’s desired. Well there really is nothing to compare.
