If I wanted 20” wheels I’ve said many times, the standard ones look the best bar none. Particularly when £300 gets them painted grey if that’s really what you want
Anyone else wavering?

Actually I fairness many of the options are reasonable prices (if not value) compared with many other companies, but I think we have highlighted a couple of notable exceptions. THE worst one for me is painting the Macan badge black for £168!!
Only a small item but £25 on the interweb gets you the same thing unless somebody is going to tell me that will invalidate the warranty?!

That's my first box ticked every time and I've retrofitted it to a really high spec Cayman that didn't have it.
£1700 to be a teenager again is cheap in anyone's book.
I met one of my best female friends brothers for the first time yesterday- I was in the Macan with PSE on and drove off like a boy racer apparently !

I got a separate quote from a specialist wheel place in Derby at around £90 per wheel to powder coat in satin black. I would prefer OPC (if broadly comparable) to do it so I can collect complete rather than then having to drop off to a third party…
I pretty much guarantee that the OPC will not do the work themselves. I’ve just had my 20” wheels re-finished by a firm that was recommended to me in Tewkesbury. They do loads of work for Tewkesbury OPC. On a previous occasion, Swindon OPC recommended a Swindon wheel specialist to me.

So not so bothered now whether OPC do it or not to be honest

Something that yes, should be standard but isn’t and something a lot of people will spec. An easy way to make extra money for manufacturers imo.
Add a few of these together and it can easy make the car a few grand cheaper at list.
