Pre-heat on gen 3?
H and welcome to the forum.
Pr-heat is not an option with the Macan. It's offered with the Cayenne and consists of a fuel powered heater with timer. I don't know if it can be configured via the App.

Sounds like something that might only be offered in Sacandinavia or Canada!

I find this odd if I’m honest.
Plenty of manufacturers below Porsches standing offer this.
A useful function for probably 6 months of the year in this country.

No gesture tailgate, no push button start, no android connection, no speed limiter in conjunction with speed sign recognition, no seat release levers in the boot, the list goes on…Partysausage wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 11:30 am I find this odd if I’m honest.

…May be not so odd??

A speed limiter in conjunction with speed limit recognition would be a godsend given the 20mph limits taking over now. If I’m going to get done for speeding, then those are the roads it’s going to happen on.

No reverse camera as standard feels a bigger omission ? Get that on a Toyota Yaris…Jon A wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 11:47 amNo gesture tailgate, no push button start, no android connection, no speed limiter in conjunction with speed sign recognition, no seat release levers in the boot, the list goes on…Partysausage wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 11:30 am I find this odd if I’m honest.

I think all Porsche owners recognise and reluctantly accept the complete lack of options included on the price, but I think certain things really should be standard such as the front/rear cameras and, given it’s a sports car, speed limit indicators and limiters for example. No wonder they’re the most profitable car company.

I started my Porsche journey thinking that way but after many hours spent speccing I prefer having the choice of options. If they were standard the start price would be higher so there would be no saving and just impose a price for something you didn't want. Satnav is standard but I would forego it and save £1500 to spend on other choices and use my phone to avoid having to read my mapbookPaul1970 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 1:11 pm I think all Porsche owners recognise and reluctantly accept the complete lack of options included on the price, but I think certain things really should be standard such as the front/rear cameras and, given it’s a sports car, speed limit indicators and limiters for example.
