Some of you will have seen, embedded in another thread somewhere(!), that I was somewhat surprised to need new disks on the rear of her Macan last month.
Anyway, the after-sales manager contacted me to see if everything was ok.
I said I was somewhat surprised that the disks needing doing as well as the pads - tbh I was surprised the pads needing doing after only15k miles too and I was in the middle of something so just told them to do what needed doing.
He has come back and admitted they made a mistake and has refunded me the cost of the disks plus £100 g/will
I didn't ask for this so all credit must go to him for being honest and putting matters right
This is Mid-Sussex as many of you know that is who I use.

Tracky,
Yes a good result and always gives you a bit of belief that there are honest people out there, fair play and well done to the OPC for making that call and gesture to you.

Lets see, two Porsche's worth well over £150k when new, 2 years old and coming up to time to swap maybe, let me think why you might get better treatment that the average punterTracky wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 10:51 am Some of you will have seen, embedded in another thread somewhere(!), that I was somewhat surprised to need new disks on the rear of her Macan last month.

What was the actual mistake, disc, pads not needed, or both?
