That's good to hear.
It may well be the roller switch, as Bluenose suggests.

I've booked the car in to have Porsche investigate, and I'll feed back the outcome.

Another update from me!
As Bluesnose1812 suggested, it is in fact a faulty roller switch.

Now waiting for them to get the part in and replace.
Previously owned:

I won't claim to be any Porsche specialist. It just seemed as jerky as my mouse scroll wheel is on occasion. :)

At least you can clean the fluff and gunge out if your mouse without worrying about the warranty :lol:
