I was told at the PEC day that they picked Silverstone as a venue because 80% of Porsche owners live within 2 hours of Silverstone...
It was a long journey for me too....
I think they are trying to weed out the riff raff
to be fair, its a good 2 hr+ drive for me and I actually do live in the civilised South, rather than the grim north. You're right though, they should move it to Brands Hatch, that would be much more civilised.

We’re lucky to have a PEC in the UK. Many countries don’t have one at all. And I’m not aware of any countries the size of the UK that have more than one PEC.
Only nine PECs worldwide, as far as I can see.
