As the title suggests. What recommendations do people have for car cleaning products? Does everyone use autoglym or do people invest in something better?

Poorboys stuff is excellent ( on Amazon ), and CarTec wax seems pretty good ( although I use it mainly on my guitars ).

This stuff? How do you apply it? Do you need a pressure washer with a soap container?

Yes, that’s the stuff, it’s best used with a pressure washer and snow foam Lance attachment.👍

I've never used snowfoam, but I can recommend using resin-filtered water to rinse the car - you can just leave it to dry naturally, minimum effort.

Always snow foam a car before washing, helps prevent swirl marks. Yes, filtered water helps reduce staining marks. I’ve bought a car dryer aswell. They are excellent at preventing swirl marks. No real requirement to touch the car whilst drying.👍

I always hose the car throughly before starting washing with 2-bucket system; the car's 4 years old now and no swirl marks.

Sometimes, I use my Stihl cordless leaf blower to blast the rinse water off.
