I'm getting quotes for tyre and wheel insurance, and one question asked is whether the tyres are Run Flat, N Rated or Standard.

What type are on a GTS?

As an aside, I'm not convinced that tyre and wheel insurance is a good buy.

I would normally agree with you - I didn't take Porsche tyre and wheel insurance.

I did however take Audi tyre and wheel insurance and so far have had one brand new tyre and 3 wheel repairs. Getting repair was fairly easy too.

Does Porsche Tyre and Wheel insurance actually exist? Mid Sussex don’t offer it. Can you buy it on-line?

Porsche did offer it when I bought mine a couple of weeks ago.... but the exclusions made it worthless to me. It excluded diamond cut wheels and even then the payout on the wheel was capped at iirc £100...

So, Tyre and Wheel insurance may be worthwhile but make sure you understand the exclusions...

I can't remember any details about Porsche but even "Audi" insurance is through Premia Solutions. They cover diamond cut wheels too (which were refurbished at Audi bodyshop).

Thanks. Just checked out their website. I’m always twitchy about any company that doesn’t post a phone number anywhere on their website.
