MOT - Is there any benefit to getting my MOT completed at an OPC?
Due to lockdown etc. I’ve only driven c. 6000 miles and it’s had a few trips back to the OPC (all sorted now).
Any idea how much they charge?
Thanks in advance.
MOT time

£54.85. The most that a garage is allowed to charge. I had mine done in March. At the time, I got a Porsche courtesy car for the day, for no extra charge.

Well, I’ll soon have a bill for at least £2,300, with only an ‘ugly’ Beemer for a courtesy car on this occasion.

Certainly not compulsory to use an OPC. Maybe book with them on the condition that you do actually get a Porsche courtesy car for the day.

I take all of our cars to the local Kwik-Fit - thankfully they are a good bunch, and by booking online i normally get a appointment for £25-30. They dont do any remedial work other than tyres, so there's little chance of them creating issues for additional work for them
