Surprisingly, after checking out 14 way seats in a Gen 2 (Without Extended Leather) I was underwhelmed by the quality of the internal door materials. A previous Mercedes C Class appeared to be of a better quality!! Will Extended Leather noticeably make a difference?

Also our old 911 had all the leather options ticked and I was shocked when I got in one with none!

I’d say yes. i’ve added EL and and the demonstrators I’ve driven have had it. Makes the whole interior feel much more premium. Its not bad without it but is very similar plastics to my mini. Read into that what you will.

Conscious of going too far with options so may drop the Bose and Heated GT Steering Wheel which will cover cost of EL. Smart move?

Fortunately the leather interior is standard now on new UK 911s. :)

Heated GT steering wheel is a must and not expensive in the grand scheme.
