Warranty Question

In this case the person is wanting to PURCHASE a warranty. Porsche imposes conditions before it sells a warranty, and having matching N rated tyres is one of them. Once someone has a warranty, if they had different tyres I agree that that itself is probably not a good basis for refusing most claims, but Porsche can choose whatever conditions they like before they sell something.

Thank you for the responses guys.
To answer the questions, fronts have N0 rears are N1. This was picked up in the Major service under their health check. I asked about the impact (if any) of this for buying a warranty. The service guy wasn't sure, so called Porsche GB the followoing day and confirmed to me that they have to be the Same N rated across all wheels, and be within a certain mm of tread between all 4.
I am based in Ascot
it makes more sense buying a set of 19" or 20" "winter wheels" rather than the 18s, the 18s seem to have no resale value, and there are lots for sale.
I may see if anyone local would consider swapping wheels for the morning of the 111 - and I would give them a drink.

All sounds reasonable to me. I'd lend you my wheels but: a) you'd be WORSE off and, b) Sheffield isn't exactly handy for Ascot!
Good luck.
Good luck.
