I’ll be honest I’d order new and wait… prices of used are mad and nobody knows where they are going next. I sold my 2018 gts 3 months ago when my new gts came. It had 36k miles and they sold it for 52k (I got 44k) but it had no warranty and all the brakes needed replacing. That 44k I got I was offered 39k in January
That same dealer is now selling 2018 gts with 30k miles for 55k which is mental for a 3 year old car.
Bear in mind the dealer will be looking for at least a 7k margin I reckon that is a pretty big cost to drive a car for 9 months,
2021 Macan S vs 2018 Macan GTS - Cost vs Time
Well I'm test driving a 2018 GTS today at local OPC to see how I feel compared to a previous Test Drive in a Gen 2 S which was really impressive as a first exposure to the Porsche brand.
Hopefully this will give the idea of whether I really like the GTS enough to persuade me to go for the older car but also the chance to compare the older Gen 1 infotainment and whether its something I could live with.
Should be interesting.

At the moment there are five Gen 2 GTS cars advertised on the Porsche Website. Of those, two are 2020 MY cars first registered at the same time as mine (08/20) or six months before. Both are being advertised at more than I paid for mine. OK, they both have PTV and Bose but it still means they are for sale around list price at 12-18 months old which IMHO means desirability and residual value are running fairly close at the moment.OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 2:44 pm
So for clarity ( and again, I know this can be read as snark so I want to be clear it isn’t meant to be ) are we classing “desirability” as being the same thing as residual value in this context?
A point for the OP to consider is that the Gen 3 S is (in performance terms) a close match to the Gen 2 GTS.
