No idea if they still do them but Porsche used to do Range Days where you got to drive each model.

Limitations were you only got to drive it in a specific area of the PEC.

Boxster on the skid pan was the most fun ever behind the wheel of any car, those things can be made to spin so easily.

Used to be after two years of ownership to encourage you to buy another

Priority has probably been to new owners for them to have their day given it was closed for a while

I had several experiences stacked up and I took a bunch of mates with me and we had a real good time. So yes no problem assigning your experience to someone else.

I was there 2 weeks ago and they told me the range days are currently suspended because they won’t allow switching of vehicles without the full sanitising treatment.

Are they back to having the instructor in the vehicle with you as you drive around?

That’s a hard no then. Much as I enjoy watching my son drive, I don’t enjoy it 472 squids worth.
They let my son have the last 45 minutes of my session, no problems at all

Thanks all. Sounds like it should all be ok. Just need to wait for the invite now. Not in a massive hurry but it would be nice to get it in before the weather turns all “Spa” on us.

Weather won't make a difference, be aware you won't get to test the top speed, pretty much every other aspect of performance though..
