Anyone else think that the spy shots of the electric Macan roofline look very similar to the sportback version of the Q4 Etron ?

Looking at the fall out from the Ukraine situation, it seems likely that there will be a revival of fossil fuel use and a review of Net Zero priority.

Based on this I think petrol cars are (thankfully) here to stay for the foreseeable future. That's why my next Macan GTS will be a Macan GTS regardless of Porsche's nod to Greta Thunderbird! 🤣😊

i’m really not surprised. I genuinely think it’ll sell like hot cakes, even if its £80k+

Picked up a used Sportage yesterday and managed to blag a 10 minute drive in a EV6 GT line. Great build quality and super quick acceleration, looks great too.
It lacked any drama and rolled around corners a little but the overall package looked super.
Ultimately though, I don’t think you would get up early on a Sunday morning just for the pleasure of a drive - May be Taycan still only EV to pass that particular test?…

I was told two weeks ago by my OPC that they are not yet taking deposits for the Macan EV.

Maybe over 40 ‘letters of interest’ rather than actual deposits... 🤔

Maybe but don know much about it. I think there’s plenty go quick in a straight line but that gets old real fast, it’s more about fun as an overall drive. I’m sure other cars will come on line to tick this box.

There is a difference in policies about deposits between OPCs. The one nearest to me will not take a deposit until a vehicle is formally announced and priced. The next nearest will take deposits as soon as the intention for a particular model is known.
