I have a garage but no longer own a car that will fit inside it. I had a heated windscreen on a Ford Mondeo and it was brilliant so i specified it on my Cayenne. The Porsche version was not in the same league. Things might have changed but always found with my Macan SC that it only took 30 seconds, using the high rate blower, to clear the screen so wouldn't recommend a heated screen to anyone.OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 1:15 pmHeated windscreen is always handy if you don’t have a garage.On-Track wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 9:13 am Myself, I'd go for the Silver out of those two options but my signature will tell you I think there is a third, and better option
Personally, I'd skip the heated GT steering wheel and heated windscreen and go for a GTS extended leather interior. But that's the beauty of Porsche, you can spec the car to get exactly the one you want.
Which GTS build is better?

I certainly endorse Peter's comments on Ford heated windscreens but, thankfully, don't have to go out when it's frosty very often these days so haven't really decided on the value of it on my Macan.

Oooh. Mid Sussex said they should get their demo stock around Sept. I’ll email them and ask if that’s still the case.

To close the loop on this thread.
I’ve chosen the following build:

Thanks all. I ended up choosing dolomite silver and black spyder wheels.
I saw two dolomite silver GTS examples on a trip to Skye this week. They both looked really amazing with the black accents of the GTS, so for that model I think the dolomite silver works very well.
That’s the final one signed with Porsche now, look forward to nov delivery (hopefully)
