Hi Col

The same has happened to me twice. Both n/s rear.

The 2nd time was last Saturday 10 miles from my destination (Carbis Bay) after 400 miles. TPS alerted me to the puncture and pressure loss and by the time I had found a suitable place to stop the tyre was flat. I managed to fit the spare with the help of a nice chap who stopped to assist.

The 1st puncture happened to the wife at night on a smart motorway. She correctly chose to drive on the flat to the next junction before she stopped. The tyre was completely gone and she was on the rim.

My thoughts are that the width 295 and the fact the wheel is near the gutter and more debri it has more chance of being punctured.
