One thing I'd throw into the mix is this - A mate of mine never used to fill up more than half full as he had a theory that he'd rather fill up more often than waste fuel carrying around 27 kg (37 litres = approx 27kg) of dead weight
Maybe he has a point...
The 75 litre tank was standard on the Turbo and now also on the GTS. Guess it’s based on the lower mpg expectation.
Hardly any difference between post 2019 V6's based on WTLP figures. Must be that GTS owners drive them harder. :) :) :)

The 75 litre tank has an increased CO2 g/km figure which you can see in the configurator and the final total affects the tax situation. Somewhere in the configurator keeps a running total of the CO2 figure as you option the car.

On the few long runs that I have done I have yet to wish that I had chosen the (same price) 75litre tank.
+1. I didn’t bother either.

I had 65 ltr before and now 75 ltr. I like that it can go further with one tank.

seems to be pretty evenly split then. it was £85 so as long as it doesn’t put my road tax up by more than a few quid I’ll stick with it. looking on some other forums apparently the 75ltr tank was standard in the US, presumably because its a much bigger country

my pet hate is filling up with fuel so I went for the bigger tank so I had to do it less !

Couple of problems though

1) the shell pay and you go App maxes out at £100 so if it is empty you don't get a full tank
2) If I pay inside with both cars - with the fuel tank at the front of the 911 and the Macan at the back I park them bumper to bumper to do it is one trip - that maxes out at 100l so that doesn't help either!

Yes as the fuel is so much more expensive now, I hit the same problem at esso even though I set the limit to £120, the pump decided to stop at £99

I like the 75-litre tank: it gives a 460+ mile range (on a long drive) with my 2020 Turbo, but filling it up from near-empty with premium unleaded is expensive!

the cost is the same, its more a cashflow issue :)

At the moment I guess its a little over £100 for a 75 litre tank full.

My mini would take about 2 months to drink that much. Oh well, back to spending stupid money on cars.
