Wrong way round surely. You touch the wheel continuously whereas you touch the shiftstick twice. Engage D engage P.

The gear shift is also in race tex as standard on the GTS sport pack

But the standard wheel feels good

There does not now seem to be the option of adding the Aluminium Gear Lever.

This was a vast improvement in looks and feel v standard and one concession to bling that I was happy to include in my Macan.

It’s one of the elements that feels more low rent than before, even the standard gear lever previously was a single piece of aluminium billet (the aluminium one had more of it on show, and greater sculpting). This new one appears to just be a lot of plastic.

It is quite plasticy - sadly the steering wheel has more visible plastic than the previous gens as well.

I think if you choose Extended Leather part of the gear selector is covered in Leather?
