Decision time!
Much as I like the Pebble/Black EL I keep having that nagging doubt of “Boss Hog” in the back of my mind.

My OCD would kick in on any marks on that - I'd soon be a nervous wreck

I'm trying to work out from the angle if thats the aluminum interior or the dark wood.
Exactly.Nelladrahcir wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 3:14 pmOmni it's nothing to do with ego, it's what car suits you best. The GTS worked out as better value for me as a similarly specced S was only a bit cheaper, there was only a few thousand difference to a base if I specced it upto how I'd want it. Which was what led me to the GTS, it's better value if you want the bells and whistles.OmniCognateSnr wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 11:31 amNot really “up” a model. Its up in price but does different things. Looks wise they are pretty much identical, and straight line speed the difference is minimal, but the GTS has more sport pretensions, so more cramped and slightly harder seats, stiffer suspension and louder exhaust. You can get these on the S or you can remove them on the GTS, but then what’s the point?
So they massage your ego in different ways rather than being the next model up.
The seats are not cramped, they are identical in shape to the 8/14/18 way seats regardless of model you choose, itsthe way they are trimmed that is different. The air suspension is not necessarily stiffer than base or just pasm if not in sports+ mode, far from it. The cars handling is sportier and the brakes are an improvement, despite some bizarre postings I've read on here. As for the exhaust, of course, who wouldn't want Pops and Bangs!!!!!
Neither, it's matt black plastic that is apparently standard on the base model.BanZ wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 5:12 pmI'm trying to work out from the angle if thats the aluminum interior or the dark wood.

That would be why I didnt recognise it! Unique to the model like black aluminum on the GTS.
Thanks everyone for all of your help, comments and advice. I've just locked my build and gone for this http://www.porsche-code.com/PN7N8UC1
Lovely as the black/pebble interior is, it was just a little too white for me, and a little too difficult to keep clean.
I know that the cost takes me into GTS territory, but most of my options are not those that come as standard on the GTS so there is no real advantage there. I also plan to keep the car a long time, given it will be my last ICE car, so didn't want to feel I had missed out on options. I think the only comment I didn't take on board was about adding a spare wheel because I've been offered one for free.
I asked about a delay with Bose (another member mentioned it on another thread) and my OPC has no knowledge of it and it apparently hasn't affected the build date of 25 November.
Now I just have to be patient!

Thanks Mike. That was the trade-off for not having pebble as I think it just lifts the cabin a little!
