Update on the delay.

It's the light control module that needs to be replaced.

This is due to arrive with the dealer first thing Monday, so I'm now collecting on Tuesday.

Yeah, doesn’t seem like there is any massive delay, but it’s still a shame I can’t collect at the weekend.

At least it’s not weeks or months like some other members are experiencing.

Wonder how many GTS's will be delivered this year. Very few I think 🤔
No idea of the current allocations to the UK. This maybe of ineterst though. Very few GTS were delivered in S1 of 2020 following the [worldwide] launch of the Gen 2 GTS in Dec 2019. This will give you an idea of how many GTS there are in the UK currently. These are accumulative GTS model numbers starting with zero sometime in 2016 to 3,700 by the end of June 2021:

Here is the complete UK picture of all Macan types since their launch in 2014:

You can drill down the details by clicking on the individual model type here: https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2 ... sche+macan

Note - the diesel SD remains the biggest selling individual model, even though production with that engine ceased at the end of 2017.

Hi Steve, this is a fantastic reference… can you help me with some interpretation here?

I am looking at 911 Carrera S and the site says that there were no “New Reg ” in 2021(?)

However, looking at “Tax” section — I presume total number of taxed cars on the road — there were 3093 licensed 911 C2S on the road in 2Q2021, vs 2801 in 1Q2021. This means 292 cars added in the second quarter. Right?

If that is correct, and according to Porsche website we have 45 OPCs in UK, average dealer could be getting 6.5 x C2S per quarter.

Let’s reduce the number to accommodate expat and private imports, and write-off re-regs, so let’s make 5 x 911C2S. Would it be fair to assume it to be a “normal run-rate”?

Your maths are correct, but I am no 911 expert, and there are a lot of C2S derivitives listed.

The “normal run-rate” may well be severly compromised with the current semi-conductor shortage etc. Your best bet will be to speak with a number of OPCs and get their opinions. Good luck!

Thanks Steve, I am gathering some intel before the calls, but you are right, the run-rate is compromised and the dealers don’t have the visibility… we the customers are clutching straws.

Morning chaps,
Those who deposited in September what delivery estimates are you being given?
I’ve always wanted our car delivered June/July 22 hoping to get the price protection as per our order.
I didn’t have an issue with my GT4 which was locked in last week they have honoured the previous price.

A lot will depend on which OPC you are with and their allocations. I placed my order back in July and still have no confirmed dates or allocation, just an indication that it should be before August, no guarantee though. Considering you placed your order in at least 2 months after mine at a guess you wont be seeing it till after August unless allocation numbers improve next year, but their are a couple on here that ordered July and looking at delivery around late February/March.
