DC WC is on a mission again!Wing Commander wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 11:32 amYes, some OPCs are really taking the mickey with used prices right now.Mike993 wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 11:03 am
Thanks! Budget is whatever it takes for the right car really, Porsche Approved are showing 25 petrol S's at the moment, the most expensive being £48,780 so it's going to be around there I'm sure.
Crazy prices I know, but coming from the classic car world you have to pay a premium for something special. What I won't be doing is paying the £46,000 one OPC is asking for a car with 46,000 miles!![]()
What’s your classic car background?
Porsche 993, by any chance?![]()

Ha, how did you guess Simon! Yep a 993 Carrera 2 one of the more recent ones but over the years a 72S and a 73E with 2.7RS motor, couple of 3.2 Carreras, a 924 Carrera GT and currently a rare 968 Club Sport.
Blimey the 924GT must have been rare

Only keep it for a couple of years as not a fun car, bland neutral feel to it and terrible turbo lag, deceptively quick though once it spooled up. One of those cars that looks better than they drive, especially the older they get.
Simon did mention it was ok to post pics, so here's one of the CGT....

Well if you love Fuchs wheels and seeing pictures then you might like this pic of the holy grail of Fuchs wheels, a set of 9" and 11"s x 15" from another of my previous cars....

I know we've strayed off topic here, but hope nobody minds. Still on the hunt for the best gen 1 black with black petrol S though!
