Having changed my 21” sport classic wheels on my newly purchased GTS to 20” winter RS spyder wheels I noticed that the sport classics have odd tyres, N0 on the front and N1 on the rear. As the fronts are new I would ideally like to swap the rears if anyone has a couple of N0 that they would swap for N1. Alternatively I would sell the N1’s for cheap if anyone is interested? Both have between 5.5mm and 5.8mm across the tread.
Seems a shame to waste two perfectly good tyres.

Any thoughts?

Thank you
Ian

My only thought is, why on earth are you bothered? As long as the wheels on each axle are the same and all 4 are N something it's not an issue.

Because I am taking the Porsche warranty and they will not pass the 111 point check. Have to be all four tyres of the same N rating.

I’m running on my winter wheels at present as my OPC gave me the heads up that it wouldn’t pass the 111 point inspection on my summers with mixed N ratings. So the problem is solved for now, but come the summer I need to fit the correct tyres or risk invalidating the warranty.

Somewhere on this forum, someone was told as long as the same N on the particular axle, a difference front to back did not matter for the warranty check

That is not what I’ve been told by Brooklands. N1 and N0 have different load ratings, so it does make sense to stick to one or the other so as not to upset the balance.

I think Brookland is getting mixed up with tests for The Porsche approved used scheme which as per this link is more specific.

I would imagine item 45 Approved wheel tyre combination covers it
