Excuse me if this is not allowed and mods please free to delete as this sale does not concern a Macan.

We had two Macans in the past and then swapped to a 911 Carrera 2S (991.2) which we sold last Friday.
I have this set of wheels with winter tyres that we used on our Ruby (991.2 2S).

I know that there are a few folks on here who also swapped to a 911 or know people who own a 911. So I thought I would advertise on here as well as e-Bay.

The wheels fitted our Carrera 2S 991.2 with no problems, but they are officially for the 991.1 generation.
The wheels are unkerbed, in great condition with ContiWinterContact tyres with 8 mm left and even wear. They also come with new centre caps, coloured crest (bought from a Porsche dealership) and TPMS sensors. We only used this set / tyres for two winters.

Here is a link to the e-Bay listing:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-19-Porsc ... 4875662951

Details:

Wheels measurements:
Front Wheels: 8.5J x 19 ET54 (p/n 991362141028Z8)
Rear Wheels: 11J x 19 ET69 (p/n 991362146028Z8)

Tyres:
Conti Winter Contact TS830P (Porsche approved fitment NO)
Front tyres: 235 / 40 / R 19 / 92 V
Rear tyres: 285 / 23 / R 19 / 99 V

The wheels are located near Dorking, Surrey. I do not have any packing material, so regretfully unable to send.
Therefore they are up for local collection or delivery within a reasonable distance, to be discussed.

Can I ask by what method you sold your 911 last Friday, and how was the experience during lockdown?
I ask because I also have a 911 991.2 Carrera 2S which I am thinking of selling.

It does seem two minutes since you reported on picking up "Ruby" Why have you sold and are you thinking of a replacement?

Hello!

In truth I part exchanged her at an OPC for a 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 which they had in stock, unregistered. All was done over the phone and e-mail. I then just dropped the 911 off for their inspection and handed the keys and documents to the reception desk. Never met the sales person, only when collecting the Cayman later the same day.

My boyfriend sold back his 718 Cayman GTS 2.5 Turbo to the same OPC without a part exchange. And again all was done over the phone and e-mail. He initially e-mailed a couple of OPC's to see who would be interested. Then we just dropped the car off for their inspection, and handed the keys + docs to the reception. A few hours later they confirmed the car was OK and they kept it. They immediately declared it as sold to DVLA, the settlement of the PCP took a few days on their part. The documents were signed electronically using Adobe and e-mailed.

It was a very easy process in both our cases.

I kept getting e-mails from MidSussex OPC wanting to buy 911s, cannot remember what their criteria was, but I would say that the 991.2 is sought after at the moment.

I know, only 1.5 years ago! And she was meant to be the keeper. :o
Still, we managed more miles in her than her original owners in 3 years. We planned to use her much more but it wasn't to be.
Then my boyfriend sold his manual 718 Cayman GTS 2.5 T and I realised that I really missed the brilliant manual gearbox and the chassis too much. So we swapped Ruby for a 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 which the OPC happened to have as a stock car, unregistered. Ruby was a stunning girl and lovely for touring and long journeys, but the manual Cayman is such a joy to drive. It was a very hard decision and I had serious doubts all the way until I drove the Cayman back home. 8-)

Ruby is for sale at OPC Guildford. :D

This is JP: 8-)

I thoroughly understand swopping a 911 for a 718 GTS 4.0, a car that will head the Porsche classic lists in years to come.

ps you need to update your stable!!
