Hello, I am looking to buy my first Porsche Macan (finally). But a bit worried about the Bore Score issues on the V6. Does this happen with the 2.0 T?
Would prefer the V6 but not if it has potential long term engine rebuild risks.
Owned 53 cars and counting....

Others will be better qualified but I think bore score issues were related to the older flat six’s in the 911 range. I’ve never heard it come up with any of the modern engines but particularly the 2.9 V6…

Welcome to the forum. I don't think you'll find any mention of bore scoring on this forum relating to Macan engines.

Welcome.

The Guvnr would baulk at being driven around in a piffing 2 litre, go V6 or nuffin.
