Don't agree that cleaning the Standard black wheels is an issue because PSCB's produce such little break dust that they are probably the easiest wheels to clean I've ever had!On-Track wrote: βThu Sep 28, 2023 10:01 am Welcome to the forum,
As MikeM has suggested the full GTS interior with Carmine Red will cost less than Β£1k more than you're planning to spend. Obviously, I'm biased but I think it looks great. The only problem with the standard wheels is they're bu***rs to clean.
I'd suggest going for the "GTS" on the sideblades in red. That will match the brake calipers and, as I know to my cost, in black on black it's to all intents invisible.
Whatever you choose, enjoy your car.

Salt, road tar, oil and general road crap all need cleaning off. Brake dust is easy to clean but the rest still needs doing through the spokes etc.PorscheMack wrote: βThu Sep 28, 2023 12:34 pmDon't agree that cleaning the Standard black wheels is an issue because PSCB's produce such little break dust that they are probably the easiest wheels to clean I've ever had!On-Track wrote: βThu Sep 28, 2023 10:01 am Welcome to the forum,

I stick by my comments. These are probably the easiest wheels to clean I've ever had. IMO the absence of BD is significant. This is based on having owned over 45 carsJon A wrote: βThu Sep 28, 2023 3:05 pmSalt, road tar, oil and general road crap all need cleaning off. You got me thinking Mac, and have wasted the latter part of the afternoon listing all the cars Iβve had since 1982, (Toyota Corolla). I think I may have missed a couple but Iβve got 63 listed with 992 as current.PorscheMack wrote: βThu Sep 28, 2023 3:42 pmFunny. But true.... When I have trouble getting off to sleep, I try to remember the cars I've owned in order of ownership. I usually get as far as an Audi 80 back in the late 80's then drift offJon A wrote: βThu Sep 28, 2023 5:33 pmYou got me thinking Mac, and have wasted the latter part of the afternoon listing all the cars Iβve had since 1982, (Toyota Corolla).
