OMG

Your car is being built right after their holidays when most of them will be still pi55ed.

Expect the unexpected and Good Luck.

MooseMiller wrote: Thu Jul 27, 2023 10:44 am Hi all,
I've been lurking for a few months now so thought that it was about time that I said hello and hopefully be able to contribute to the community a bit.

I have had a Macan S on order since March and expecting delivery around September / October. Not my first Porsche; that was a Boxster S way back in 2001. Waited 9 months for that one so not much has changed in that respect :)

I'm an (early) retired IT Project Manager but in a previous life I did spend ~20 years or so repairing and painting cars. Also spent a couple of years after that working as an insurance assessor so although I'm sure both industries have moved on somewhat, hopefully I can still offer some helpful advice in those areas

Cheers

Welcome to our friendly forum! :)

Hahaha :D

Nope. They'll all be refreshed, fit and raring to go. And they'd have had a week to re-acclimatise :D

Way back in the 80's I was working in a Peugeot bodyshop and we had a trip out to the Peugeot assembly line in Coventry. The level of commitment, application and pride that we witnessed on that production line (or not!) and I wouldn't be surprised if that car had come out of there!!
