I was grumpy when you were still wetting your nappies.
So not changed much.

I see! The spare wheel was the subject of much debate. I originally had it in my spec but when I spoke to my SE (and also to his manager) they both questioned whether: a) I would be able to change a wheel myself and b) where I do most of my driving. The answers to those are: a) probably not, although I do know how to do it and have done it before some 30 years ago from the luxury of a driveway; b) I live in the badlands of east london and most of my driving is in the SE in and around the M25 so mobile signal is generally not a problem. So the spare wheel option was ditched. I will remember your situation if the same ever happens to me!Col Lamb wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 9:02 pm BTW
If you are wondering about the comments I have a Bee in my Bonnet about buyers who do not include a Spare Wheel in their spec. as I had a flat in a very remote area with no mobile signal and could well have been stuck without a spare. An inflator kit would not have sealed the puncture, right now I am resisting posting the image....
Anyway, all the admin is done, payment is sorted, various insurances arranged (GAP via ALA using the MSE25 discount code), Porsche app downloaded (for what it's worth - I hope they put more petrol in than I can see currently!). Now just to collect on Friday. Pics will follow....

RE the GAP did you get back to invoice or vehicle replacement?Pippsy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 11:41 amI see! The spare wheel was the subject of much debate. Assume the latter factors in things like price rises between now and the end of the cover to replace the vehicle, whereas back to invoice is just back to the amount you paid?
