Hello!

I've been reading this forum for a long time. Booked Gen 3 Macan S at the end of August and March/April delivery is what I've been told. Based on my basic knowledge, I've configured and booked this - Yeah, Night Blue.

Appreciate your suggestions.

Love to listen to songs while driving. My family sleeps very quickly when I drive and I enjoy the drive and the songs hence, gone for Bose. Not sure how the standard speakers are.
I know, I've configured with few unnecessary options but it looks good with them imo :).
Roof rails in aluminium, painted in black (high-gloss)
Wheel centre set with full-colour Porsche Crest
Storage Package - my lads could keep their toys/tablets or empty Crisps packets :)
Does 18-inch collapsible spare wheel comes with an air compressor? I remember reading such statement somewhere in this forum.

I've compromised and consoled myself on few options, which I like but the price is shooting.
1. Black/Mojave beige two-tone extended leather interior - like that contrast Beige stitching.
2. Surround View
3. Lane Keeping Assist

Cheers,
Karpa.

A nice spec. I am also going NightBlue. I almost went with the beige as my Dad had a navy TR3 with beige hood and it's a good combination. I didn't want the full dash so went the partial red leather instead.
You will spend many happy hours playing and whatever your final spec is will be the right one.

Lovely spec and night blue has become my second favourite colour after seeing one in the metal a few weeks back. Spare wheel does come with air compressor.
Not sure if BOSE is £850 better than standard but that’s a personal choice and one you can investigate over the next few weeks.
Good spec 👍

Very nice spec. I think you should think seriously about surround view rather than just reverse cam though. The cars are wide and those alloys are so easy to scrape. Ask to try cars out with both options and you’ll see the difference. Being able to see the kerbside has saved me from a few costly scrapes.

Great spec

My first Macan had RevCam

My current Macan has Surround Cam, which is well worth the extra cash. Do test drive a Macan with Sur Cam to check it out thoroughly.

Speed limit indicator and lane change assist are of questionable value

I actually think Blind spot monitoring or as Porsche calls it Lane change assist should be compulsory on all vehicles.

And another vote from me for surround view

Lane change assist over rated imho. Have driven for 30 years without it with no problem whatsoever. I had it in last two cars and never had cause to be “warned” once.

Speed limit indicator really worthwhile, but lane change assist not. Reversing camera essential, but surround view a luxury.

In my opinion surround view is a must have, I bought a s/h car with it on, & would deffo not buy another without it. With 21” wheels very useful for avoiding curbs when parallel parking.

I think that you have a sensible spec here. I like the combination, although would add the Mojave beige sear belts but depends on how messy your lads are 😳. Personally don’t think the BOSE is worth it, had it in 3 previous, went for standard with current and really happy with it. Also as some have said, reverse camera Yes, surround view, why? You’ve not got 21” wheels and as long as your able to use mirrors, same for lane keep assist, would ditch both. I do use the speed limit indicator and have it full size on the side screen, as you can often drive into typically a 40/30 or 20 section of road without realising and that’s exactly where your friendly local mobile camera enforcement will be sat. Does also help to have a dash cam with speed camera audible warning, but not at Porsche prices. Think I just saved you some cash 👍
