Hi All,

Quick introduction - I put a deposit on my Macan on 05 November. This will be my first Porsche and really looking forward to getting it.

Will be a 2022 Macan 2 in Papaya. I've initially spec'd:
ACC
Air Suspension
Leather
Roof Rails (Black)
Smartphone Compartment
75 Lite Fuel Tank

Was a bit of a juggle to get the options I wanted and keep at a price point, but I'm hoping I've got it about right.

Hatfield dealer initially said it would be Q2, but he know's the PCP on my current deal doesn't end until September (although I could go sooner if I get a closer build date). I'm suspecting that he'll allocate the build date based on the September date?

Can't wait to do the Experience Day and finally get on board with a brand that I've wanted for many years.

Ask your dealer what the CO2 will be. Looking at your spec ( assuming it’s the 2.0) as it’s without a pano roof or bigger wheels you should sneak into the lower new car VED charge( saving you almost £600) . If you were slightly above then dropping the 75litre tank might make the difference.

Thanks for the info.

There was a typo in my first post. It's the S.

Thanks for the info and the code.

Still not massively sold on the orange with red brake calipers, but nearly £600.00 to have them in black seems excessive!

That's what I was expecting on the VED though.

Agreed. Nothing to stop you getting them re-enamled.

Nice first spec including the Air. Wireless charging seems to get poor reviews from some who have it/tested it and you have a couple of USB charge points in the same box so perhaps money is better spent on Memory for the seats/mirrors or dimming mirrors or privacy. You can add some options (albeit more expensively) such as variable effort steering as retrofits after delivery if you have doubts on ordering.

I get your point about brake calipers and in the end my options split almost 50/50 between cosmetic vs functional ones. I busted my target budget at the point of deposit by about £3k by the time I had to lock my spec! It takes a lot of discipline to stay away from changes…

I haven’t seen a Macan in Papaya but did see a Panamera in Papaya at Silverstone PEC last week

Yes. That actually looks like a decent representation of the colour.

I saw a Panamera in Papaya at the dealer when I ordered mine and I think it looks a bit lighter than it looks on the website.
