A week ago I strolled into Porsche Mid Sussex with the intention of ordering my first Porsche - a sparsely optioned face lift Macan S. (Estimated delivery January 2022).
Unfortunately the best laid plans went astray and on Friday I drove away in their floor display Crayon GTS.
Such is life.

Welcome, A "Macan" on the drive is worth more than one in an over the channel concept cloud as can be seen from many of the worried about delivery threads in this forum at present. ;) ;) ;) ;)

Enjoy

Many thanks for your warm welcomes to the Forum.
The thought of waiting until January and having looked at a Cayenne centre console guided me towards my decision. I’m not keen on glass screens 😊

Welcome along to our friendly forum. :)

I think you made the right choice. The sweet spot in the Macan range in the opinion of many!

More pics would be good! :D

does it have the 18 way sport seats? If so I think there is a very good chance I had my ample behind squeezed into them the weekend before last. I popped over to compare the 18 and 14 way seats and I'm pretty sure yours was the one they had out in the compound and let me have a sit in. If so, its very nice!

Hi Peter,
In my mind too many (a total of 26 options) - it has:- GTS Leather in Crayon, GT Wheel, Pano roof, Heatable Windscreen, Auto dim mirrors, Carbon package, SC, Smoking pack, comfort lights, Bose, #PORSCHE# Logo lights, Privacy,Black PDLS, Air, etc.etc.
Too much for me.
It has the standard GTS seats and Memory - I find these very comfortable - just the right amount of hug and adjustment.
I compared them to the Comfort Seats of an S in the showroom. The comforts had a little more room and of course Lumbar adjustment but were in leather. I'm not a fan of leather (having had it in an RS3 and Q5 as standard - too hot and slippy).
I sat in an 18way GTS quite recently and found it uncomfortable - too restricting and the seat was hard.
Hope this helps.
