A range of 310 miles is being quoted, which means maybe 230 on a cold day? Dropping to about 185 if you only have time to charge to 80%. Not great really.

Re: Macan EV Official Launch Date!
It will be interesting to see whether a full range of models will be available from day one, or whether some will be unavailable until subsequent launches.

Re: Macan EV
https://www.topgear.com/car-news/electric/forthcoming-all-electric-porsche-macan-will-get-over-310-miles-range Improvements in range seems glacial in comparison to advancements in other technologies. I find the 310 mile range being quoted for the Macan EV disappointing, when considering cross count...

Re: Buying a Used Gen 3
Porsche Centres are reluctant to offer discounts on new orders (they don’t need to).
But I think there’s more chance with used, so it’s worth trying a sensible offer if you find one you are interested in.

Re: it's time to bring buttons back for controlling your car
Apart from the climate controls, which buttons are people fiddling with regularly? All mine are already selected and i dont change any of them from one journey to the next. I rarely use any buttons, and certainly not the climate control ones. I do however really miss the buttons in earlier Macan ge...

Re: Gen 2 - iPhone connection question - Voice control
My Sept 2019 Gen 2 S came with wireless CarPlay. I don’t know if all Gen 2s came with wireless CarPlay, or whether it was added to Gen 2s at some point. I do recall that the SE was interested in seeing how it worked when my car was delivered - I think the wireless element was a new feature on the Ma...

Re: New prospective owner in Hampshire
Is the Gen 3 S more powerful than Gen 2? Apologies for being a little confused. New to Porsche. 🙏 Ask me anything about L322 Rangies and I’m you’re man 😂 Yes, the 2.9 litre in the Gen 3 S is a little more powerful than the 3 litre in the Gen 2. And it feels like a nicer engine to drive. I’d conside...

Re: Macan EV
Was talking to my OPC this week and he mentioned that he reckoned that the electric Macan 1) would be about 100 Grand 2) will not be available until end of 2024 3) will have a 250 mile real range but gen 2 will use one of the new technologies which will get them up to around 400 miles 4) EV cars ar...

Re: Lave Assist; Lane Keep Assist; Lane Change Assist
Seems basically correct, although the first one is called Lane departure warning and comes as standard.
Personally I keep the departure warning switched off, and have never had any interest in choosing the other options.
