Re: Wheel Touch Up Advice

Thanks for the input, I will give it a go!

Gloss black paint + layer of lacquer. Sounds doable.

I'll share a pic of my handiwork once its done.

Wheel Touch Up Advice

Alas, the inevitable has happened and the better half has kerbed a wheel. Was hoping it would take more than 2 months but here we are  . Looking for some advice on how best to give it a touch up... Its not severe enough for me to get the entire wheel refurbed at this time. If down the line ano...

Re: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Porsche Centre South London (Sidcup)

Sounds like a c0ck up on the part of reception, which is unfortunate. If you do go back I would state how fuming you were and let them grovel. If not go to another OPC but hopefully was just a one-off.

Re: My first Porsche order

My two cents: 1) I'd always go metallic. No brainer. 2) Agreed - black rims/red caliper is a good combo. 3) I would say pebble interior on a white car would be a big no no for me (unless maybe I lived in Miami? :D) . If the car is white, i'd def say go black inside or red. 4) Extended leather makes ...

Re: Disillusioned by ownership

One would tend to think that the school run time is busier, and hence be more likely to encounter all sorts of twats. I commute to Hammersmith and there's all sorts of moronic drivers about I encounter on the daily. Most the time I just laugh at them. On the few times I've take the GTS I can't say I...

For Sale: 21" 911 Turbo Design Wheels + Pirelli Tyres

Advertising on behalf of my Dad. I'll put these on the forum here for a few days before going out to the wider UK Macan Facebook group. I have a nearly new set of 911 Turbo Design alloys shod in Pirelli tyres for sale. The wheels came with his new Macan S last summer. Alloys: Unmarked Tyres: They ha...

Re: From a Gen 2 S to a Gen 3 GTS

A new Gen 3 S vs GTS video: https://youtu.be/tC1FWwbZhgk Prob I found when speccing them, was that the GTS looks better with all the styling tweaks as standard. I don't like the chrome look so by the time I've spend money making the S look how I want it, then the actual options I want, you're bette...

Re: New Macan GTS or 992

I'm not sure how there is a comparison to be made. They're vastly different cars. The Macan for practicality, day to day comfort. Clearly the car to go for if you have a family and need any form of space. If you're a single guy with no one else to ferry about, then one would get the 992. Surely the ...
