Re: Your £110,000 Porsche

This: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRLD6WK8 :) Nice 👌 …would you be able to get out of those buckets?? 😂 No. The £15k I saved is for a collapsible electric winch and frame, self-launching when the driver's door is opened. Variable velocity allows me to catapult myself to my front d...

Re: New Macan GTS or 992

We too had an E30 325i convertible (dolphin grey), then I had an E46 330ci MSport convertible, both driver's cars (unlike most BMWs since. But now, just these two... 20231026_103750-4.jpg 26116522595_4373707f1b_b.jpg 53277052064_83d22e09cf_b.jpg Never much cared for the fat arsed spinny-off 911, alt...

Re: Window cleaner

I'm sure I read in the manual you can and should mix summer and winter, in other words you need the screenWASH (the green one, squeezey bottle) to clean the screen as the winter additive is not a cleaner. If I could be bothered I'd go get the manual, but I can't.

Re: Potential Macan buyer

Late 2018 on gives you face lifted styling and improved tech (wider screen) which is what we looked for, and to (hopefully) avoid the transfer box issues of the previous iteration (individual tail lights rather than light bar) so you're on the right track. Ours came from an OPC with 2yrs 8mths warra...

Personally, I wouldn't undertake applying PPF to a car without having successfully done the job on previous cars.
But how would you ever get started?

981 prices on the up and up..

I did a WBAC quote back in October when thinking of chopping in my Cayman against the Macan. In the end I didn't (couldn't) do it, though the Cayman mostly sits in the garage nowadays, after I retired a year and a half ago and don't go visiting clients. Since then WBAC have regularly emailed me and ...

Re: Who has a Macan EV on order?

I recently had the auto-braking deploy. Was on a 50mph road and the car in front suddenly slammed on the brakes to avoid missing a turn off, no indication that he was going to turn. I would have stopped in time by myself, and my foot was already on the brake when the auto-brake system kicked in, bu...
