Re: ACC auto resume

I feel that I've seen 2.5 or 3 seconds quoted as the stationary period before ACC refrains from moving again. I sometimes think that varies from instance to instance but have concluded that is more likely to be my mind playing tricks rather than the car! I do recall that when i specc'd my car the w...

Re: ACC auto resume

My experience with ACC is as follows; Come to an automatic stop. If the traffic in front moves off within 1 second or so, my car will pull away and accelerate with no input. If the traffic in front is stationary for more than 1 second, 2 scenario's.... 1) Engine stops due to stop/start... when the ...

Re: ACC auto resume

Think if one touches the brake when moving or standstill then it needs re-engaging, but otherwise does its stuff, whilst allowing one to accelerate over the set speed if needed. Not sure about auto start / stop as usually drive mine in Sport. Yes thats correct, over the last few days since it did a...

Re: ACC auto resume

In my experience, it depends on how long the traffic in front is stationary. Auto resume works for very brief stops but if the stop is more than a few seconds then manual resume is necessary. well I may be mistaken but on a few occasions on that journey the car was stopped for about 5 secs maybe a ...

ACC auto resume

Hi all hoping someone might shed some light on the way the ACC works or should work. Had my car a few months now and same as most members on here love the car to bits. I regularly use the ACC on my daily commute too and from work and have recently had not an issue but thrown a curve ball on how it w...

Re: Extended Apple Carplay screen

I think this is worth paying for but the question is how much is it worth. It doesn’t add any more info just makes it bigger so to me would be worth about £100 to do - any more than that and it’s just a waste of money to me… I agree Jon £100 tops, I actually like having the side pane showing some o...

Re: gen 3 S review

Python just looks better and better every time I see it! There’s a Boxster GTS at Silverstone in same and that was awesome too 😎 +1. I think that Python Macans will be much sought after on the pre-loved market. She’s a beauty, Shaun. :) And a great post to mark your century! 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ Cheers, Hey t...

Re: gen 3 S review

Just to clarify, I think the GTS is a fab car and looks the part. It will certainly hold its value better than other variants too. I couldn’t wait for a GTS so “specced up” an S to the point of very little difference. Not the cleverest thing to do financially, but there is no performance delta that...
