I suspect we're probably the last people to know about it....

Happy for the moderators to delete my posts if so desired

Re: New kind of theft?

Probably crackheads trying to steal/flog whatever they can. As this is so integrated with the software of the car I can't see this becoming a common theft target - there is next to no market to sell these on. Who knows? Either the components within them have value or - as I suspect - the market exi...

Re: New kind of theft?

By way of update. Spoken to a couple of OPCs this morning and it’s the first time they had ever heard of such a theft. Long story short the unit costs approximately £2500 inc vat and then installation (reconfiguration + wheel geometry etc etc) is expected to be another £1500 plus. Whatever your view...

New kind of theft?

Hi all, Have read a lot about increasing numbers of thefts / security breaches recently; unfortunately I have a new one to add. I drove the car for the first time in a week today only to be greeted by an “ACC/PAS service unavailable” notification. I was about to curse the unreliability of the car ag...

Re: New Member / potential purchase

Hi All, new to the forum so please forgive me :D Essentially, I've grown sick of my company supplied EV and have opted (at significant cost) to terminate my contract early, with my car collected soon. Fortunately I have access to another car, but I don't wish to use it for an extended period as I b...

Re: Macan T ... going through some personal touches

As subtle as a sledgehammer. The guy has not long got his car, and is very happy with it. Why be so negative? Always the way…… I really do wonder sometimes why anyone would join this forum. Have to agree - too many grumpy old men on this forum, me included. I think it will be interesting to see a d...

Re: Macan T ... going through some personal touches

Sorry but your cash would have been spent better on buying an SD, S or Turbo rather than adding bling. Just to reiterate what others have said, it is not a “T”, it just has a Base 2.0 litre turbocharged engine and a piss poor one at that when it is trying to haul around a near on two tonne car. The...

Re: That one thing

Apologies if that bit was cryptic. Fuel consumption may be similar but as specced the OP's car is comfortably +/- £10k below an S. So with £10k in their pocket that pays for an awful lot of petrol.

OP - get yourself signed up to Porsche GB and the Esso card. Saves you 6p a litre.
