Re: Annoying noise on low speed

Sorry, I haven't visited this site for ages so didn't see the replies. Mine was sorted by the dealer, it was one of the exhaust heat guards catching on the steering rack when turning that caused the cracking sound. Very simple fix, but they said it was a bit of a pain to get to in order to adjust. I...

Re: Price increases

Weirdly I just went on the configurator to have a look and first it loaded the old price, then refreshed itself back to the page showing all models and finally when I went back onto the Macan the new price was showing. When I ordered mine (October '21) the base price for a GTS was around £64k. The p...

Re: Tyre Extinguishers

I've seen the aftermath of a couple of 'attacks' from these idiots from people I personally know of, via Instagram. They're not just letting tyres down - they're slashing them too. Someone had their Twisted Defender done, Manchester I believe, all 4 tyres slashed. Same for someone else in a Range Ro...

Re: Extended leather or gts extended ?

Not entirely sure what you mean, but extended leather isn't standard on the GTS and there isn't a 'GTS' logo anywhere else in the leather, just on the headrests :)

Black Plastic Repair (+PPF)

Well...it didn't take very long. I seem to have been a bit unlucky with this car so far, after I washed it for the first time a neighbour's cat ran over it and scratched the bootlid with its claws, and now I've just found this. I know about detailing and scratch repair in paint but not plastic. Is i...

Re: Random Functions Switching on ???

Not noticed this yet, but I have noticed a couple of times when I turn the key the seat doesn't move forward. Seems to be random - I really, really hope this car doesn't have electrics in the same league as my Range Rover!!

Re: 2nd Hand Prices

Thread revival on used prices. Just spotted this puppy went live today, place your bets on how long it takes to sell That car has been for sale for a while now (maybe 6 weeks?) it originally went up at £99,500 so has reduced slightly. I think it's been mentioned in another thread on here, the spec ...

Re: Running in

The manual says 1800 miles but I think this is a bit excessive. Most sports/supercars are 1,000km (620 miles) until fully run in, so I'd follow that. I've just got over that in my GTS so I'm opening it up a bit more now. All I did in mine was be gentle with it, keep it in normal and sport modes only...

Re: Intelligent Speed Assist

I'm already not that interested in new cars coming out now. The Macan is fine as it's my daily driver and hasn't got any obtrusive tech like the mandatory speed limiter, however I think GPF/OPF's have really killed sports/supercars for me. My AM Vantage is a 2019 and one of the last cars without the...

Re: Five details I would change on the Macan…

I've had mine only a few days longer than yourself, and definitely agree with 1,2 and 3 of your list. In addition: 1- Carplay needs to be full screen. This is the absolute number 1 bugbear I have, I use Carplay all the time and the buttons are too small to easily press whilst on the move, it should ...
