Re: Scratches on windscreen

There are owners on here that have had worse and it’s been corrected so it must be possible. Hope you're right, but not sure how :) And Porsche have to accept it's outside their accepted tolerance range... Think it needs to go to one of their body shops where they know how to adjust.

Re: Cracked windscreen

I don’t have any issue with mine at all. I just put this up for comparison as this is my factory screen and to suggest the gap is not necessarily consistent 😉

7mm on the OPs replacement is poor though.

Re: Cracked windscreen

The gap on my screen from the factory does not have a consistent gap all the way down. It’s larger in the middle area and then very tight towards the bonnet. Same both sides.

Re: Cracked windscreen

I don't rate these companies at all. Very much do it as quick as possible and with little care. My Mercedes had a cracked screen a couple of years ago and this was replaced by National Windscreens. They scratched my roof from presumably using a screwdriver to remove the roof bar trim, which I notice...

Re: Why do I bother...My Porsche App problem

Yeah the App is a ridiculous price for something that doesn’t actually do anything. I lapsed mine as soon as I saw the price. I lapsed my Merc app which would lock the doors remotely etc, and even with no subscription I can still see tyre pressures, still see mileage etc, still see if it’s locked an...

If not then we're pushing alot of undesirable ideas out there ;) I suspect we're probably the last people to know about it.... Happy for the moderators to delete my posts if so desired The posts are very useful an...

Definitely a whole lot riskier with all those 4x4 buses though 😉
