Re: 2 year service &advisories

Just had latest quote for a stand alone oil service. £528. Last one was £350. Anyone similar quotes. I'm booked in for one in May at Stockport OPC at a promised £335.05 and I'll be whipping out the PCGB membership card when I come to pay! Sheffield charged me £413 in Feb '21 and £376 in June '22, d...

Re: FCA suspends GAP ins sales

PCP next, hopefully: https://leasing.com/car-leasing-news/pcp-misselling-fca-investigation/ About time PCP inflated sticker prices fell back. I already have three claims in progress for this after it appeared on the Martin Lewis money show… Actually I say “I” when I really mean my secretary Mrs A 😂

Re: Cracked windscreen

Has anyone that's had a none OEM screen fitted got a view on how they compare to the original? I have the distinct feeling that Porsche screens pick up far more little chips and scratches than any non-premium car I've ever owned previously. :x I had an Autoglass screen and they told me it comes out...

Re: How Do You Drive Your Macan?

Well known. Do a Google? This from Porsche, doesn't fully explain. Screenshot 2024-03-27 at 18.57.47.png Well you’re right it doesn’t fully explain!! 😂 I also don’t think it means it “learns” anything it’s just variable damping - think you are reading too much into it. Sorry Jon but it does. Well k...

Re: How Do You Drive Your Macan?

Also applies to PASM. It too will react to your driving style. E.g. in Sport chassis if you drive sedately for a while the suspension will soften up. Really??? Where did you get this nugget from? I think if true, that would be a very bad thing 🤔 Well known. Do a Google? This from Porsche, doesn't f...

Re: How Do You Drive Your Macan?

Comfort for pootling around. Sport for hooning around. The PDK is brilliant but it needs to learn your driving style over time. I've had my 981 PDK for 9 years and the gearbox is super intuitive. It's as though it knows my thoughts. Still getting used to the Macan S PDK but having had PDK for so lo...

Re: Cracked windscreen

I had my screen replaced by Autoglass and they did the “calibrations” (whatever that means) and zero issues.
Don’t even know if it’s an OEM screen or not but I can see out of it and the wipers and cameras worked so all good.
When I sold back to the OPC, it was never mentioned or checked 🤷‍♂️

Re: EV Macan - again

I think everyone is getting a bit giddy over some dodgy photos or renderings here and maybe waiting for an actual UK car might be best… Particularly as that front spoiler is literally touching the tarmac on one of those pics - I’m going to go out on a limb and say that’s not right… 😂😂 Am pretty sur...
