Re: Tool Update
It is a bit annoying, struggling to clean the Macan roof (unless you are a tall person) I put a wash mitt on the end of a wheel brush and use that to reach the centre of the roof. I put a wash mitt on my hand and use that.  I put a wash mitt on Mrs B's hand and use that.

Re: Service Book
Been to view a Gen 1 Macan today, has full Porsche Service History - according to the receipts that I was presented with - which were also noted on the HPI check in the file. However, the dealer doesn’t have a physical service book for the vehicle though and seems to think it may have been digitali...

Re: 21” vs. 20” Ackerman Effect
I don't believe that the effect is an issue at all. The car doesn't get damaged in any way It is just the combination of various physical geometry factors will mean that wheels will scrub more when on full lock and even more so when the weather is cold and sidewalls less forgiving . Having lower pr...

Re: Macans are about to be uninsurable!
I think Macan thefts are almost entirely inside the M25 although there are a few in Gloucestershire. Don’t understand any of this but presumably it depends where the “chop shops” are located?? Design is so old they must be stolen for parts?? It's only in the last 12 months that any Macan could be f...

Re: What a tool.............. (new vehicle, as requested)
It’s really beautiful. Great to hear the ride quality and the interior are impressing you. I hear the cross turismo has amazing traction in slippery conditions. Probably will be important to get the home recharging outlet installed soon as it will be a very different experience using public charger...

Re: Rear Light Bar Condensation
There are new foam pad surrounds on the rear lights to prevent insect incursions - my lights were replaced under warranty and was informed about the updated foam surrounds. Mine is a '21 model. YES! You posted that before, sorry my total recall facility has deteriorated I'm not sure if IT'S sufferi...

Don't trust adhoc advice from a forum. To be certain I would remove a wheel and measure them.
