Re: Chester Porsche @ Cheshire Oaks

Soddin Yankies, that explains a lot. I also avoid all things American as far as possible. Ever since I found out that the USA customers were given preferential treatment by Porsche with their orders, typical wait for a custom build was six weeks plus delivery where here in the UK our wait was typic...

Re: Specification Error

Closure! I’m now the proud owner of a Macan T. Glad you got it sorted out in the end, even though it's not an ideal outcome. Shame some of the replies have probably put you off the forum; some people on here come across as complete arseholes - you would think they would show a bit more respect to e...

Re: Is Paint Protection Film a Must for a New 2022 Macan?

Has anyone on here had the gloss black side blades for enough time to undertand how well they resist the elements and stay looking good? Yes, my previous Macan's side blades had bad gravel rash, particularly in front of the rear wheels, so had PPF applied to the new one - 2 years on, not a mark on ...

Re: New Tyres

The Scorpion Verde isn't N rated for the Macan GTS rears, as far as I'm aware, so that rules it out for some of us.

Re: New Tyres

I'm changing from Pirelli to Michelin Latitude Sport 3 - been around a long time, but Porsche seem to like restricting our choice when it comes to N ratings! The Michelins seem to get decent reviews though, despite their age.

Re: Recommend Front Tyres

Just looking at new tyres myself - the Porsche approved 'N' rated tyres that I can find are (there may well be others): Continental Sport Contact 5P SUV Yokohama Advan Sport V105T Michelin Latitude Sport 3 Pirelli P Zero The Michelin and Pirelli both appear to have been superseded, by the Pilot Spor...

Re: From Black to Neodyme

They went back to Porsche in Germany to be painted to Porsche standards then wow £900 sounds reasonable ! Oh no they just went to a local paint shop his dealer knows and overcharged massively and probably not even done properly by an actual alloy wheel specialist ! Says a man boasting about spendin...

Re: Sold.....moving on

I'm eyeing up Clio 200, or a integra type r.....need to fill the garage with something and never had a decent fwd since mk5 GTI many moons ago.....might be rose tinted glasses though🤔 Loved my Clio 200 and was sorely tempted by a Type R - until I tried a Fiesta ST. What a great car, so much fun; sh...

I hope so, mine are just about done at less than 8.000 miles!

Blimey, that's good going!
Go on then!

Re: Cayman GT4 RS

Yeah, I get you re bright colours for track. Maybe Ruby Star then? That'd look great with the many black and carbon bits There was a Ruby Star Boxster on the Porsche stand at Goodwood - it looked really dull, so I would definitely recommend seeing it in the flesh first! I'd go for Azzurro Thetys, i...
