Re: Stockport OPC

That's my nearest dealer but chose to buy from the new Stockport place, as I reckoned they would have better/newer servicing facilities; plus the Handforth one looked to me like it dealt more with used cars(?) Ferrari, McLaren and Rolls Royce are all in Handforth too! Aston Martin showroom is in Wi...

Re: Stockport OPC

They've been great when I've taken my cars there and service prices are very competitive...cheaper than Wilmslow my nearest OPC even though they are in the same group! I dare say that the average Wilmslow clientele wouldn't be seen dead in grubby Stockport though! P.S. A quick mention for the Arden...

Re: Mini

I had a hip operation which has resulted in me being bored off my trolley not yet being able to walk so..... I thought that these days you weren't allowed to lounge around and they used a cattle prod to get you moving almost as soon as you came round! Be a good boy and do what the physio tells you....

Re: One year with my Macan S

Serious question Neil - what do you do with the information?? I'm intrigued because, owning a Macan, you presumably don’t change how you drive? But then it doesn’t sound like it’s very interesting data either… 🤷‍♂️ First, I'm not worried about the mpg obviously or wouldn't be on my second Macan! I'...

Re: One year with my Macan S

I did the brim to brim for a six month period in both my Macan's with the result being both MFD’s reading 10% higher than actual. Anorak 1911, does brim to brim every time and adds it to his spreadsheet! I just look at the PCM reading on the move and on occasional journeys, always interested to see...

Re: Supermarket Fuel

I think you read that Sainsbury's was SUPPLIED by BP, not identical to it. GTB will correct me if I'm wrong. As for the Ferrari it was probably one of their sales staff with the demo model!

Re: One year with my Macan S

Your MPG figures, off the MFD by chance? MPG was MFD , I keep intending to do a brim to brim to check but keep forgetting, old age . I did the brim to brim for a six month period in both my Macan's with the result being both MFD’s reading 10% higher than actual. Anorak 1911, does brim to brim every...

Re: CV / Driveshaft boot issues

I know that there are plenty of write ups around CV/Driveshaft boots failing and being a very common issue. BUT...... has anyone released or found an alternative / upgraded part? Only reason being mine has split and rather then replacing it and it happened again down the line has anyone found an al...
