Re: Goodbye Macan hello RR

WBAC are all over the place re my Taycan - went down to £34k, then £28k and now back to £44k, which is about the same as my GFV in 3 years time...

Re: Porsche Warranty

My first experience of Porsche ownership was a 2004 996. Not sure if 15 year warranty was available then, but I was green behind the ears on all that sort of stuff 10 years ago. Car suffered bore score so Hartech rebuilt the engine for £12k. I also bought a 10 year old Cayman R from an independent w...

Re: PCP Finance/Depreciation

With these sorts of numbers for depreciation and interest, I can see people keeping their cars for a lot longer and the average age of cars on our roads will increase. Which will be a generally good thing IMO. :) Macan ICE FAR stronger…well over 50%….that’s how I first got into Porsche…the much str...

Re: PCP Finance/Depreciation

Just looked at the finance examples for the new Taycan…shocking…and that’s from someone who actually enjoys the Taycan…no way I can justify going new, even though I can business expense it 3 year deal…not one of the models has a GFV of 50%. The turbo has a GFV of £54k against a pre-optioned car of £...

Re: Just joined the forum - shopping for a Turbo!

However, if you buy privately and the car still has a months warranty for example, you can extend straight away without a 111 point check. So that may be the way forwards. It’s only if the warranty has expired you need to wait 90 days before renewing. Also, the warranty is invalid if you buy from a...

Maybe an age thing...you're now of an age whereby they think you're less risk, but not old enough to be a danger :D  :P

Re: PCP Finance/Depreciation

Be interesting to see what deals there are at the end of the year if they're short on their targets....new stock was being offered at 15% off Taycan base and S and 20% off turbo My taycan Turbo, at 38 months old, was about 50% of it's new price and, according to autotrader price checker, had been re...

Re: Used Taycan . List prices.

Just looked at the Porsche used website for used Taycans. Another bit of smoke & mirrors , after the change in cars available changed to 25+, you can no longer get a configurator new price for a Taycan for comparison with the used price. Still available for the Macan though. +The Macan ICE is s...

Re: Car Insurance ( Again)

It's not something I've considered either, but in the incidents where I've had to make use of it, it being embedded within my policy made utilising the service seamless. Having said that, I only opt for it on the "main" car
